This data protection declaration applies to websites for which bbw gGmbH  International Division is responsible. Please also note information provided directly with the respective processing, in sub-offers or in forms. Our Internet pages may contain links to external companies to which our data protection declaration does not refer. We guarantee the confidentiality of your personal data. All employees are bound to secrecy. In the event of changes to the processing operations, new legal aspects or further development of the protective measures, the data protection declaration will be updated.

Purposes, Legal Basis

Information about services of the responsible party, enabling site visits, optimisation, protection and operation of the online offer; necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the responsible party according to Section 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Section 15 para. 3 TMG (Telemedia Act).

Receiver

No data transfer to third parties is intended. The processing is carried out by the responsible internal departments and employees of the data controller as well as, if applicable, by contractually obligated data protection processors.

Outside Germany

As a rule, we do not transfer data to third countries or international organisations.

Storage period

Logged data on page visits are stored for 30 days.

Site visit

To ensure the proper operation of our systems, we log access to our services. There is no automated linking with data from other databases and no profiling. The log data are deleted after 30 days. When our pages are accessed, the following data are logged temporarily: Date and time of access, shortened IP address of your system, browser used, operating system used, language setting, services accessed via our systems, files or pages (URL), successful access or error, amount of data transferred, previously visited pages (referrer). The data are not merged with other information about your person.

Transport encryption

The connection between your system and ours (between browser and server) is encrypted. You should keep your internet browser up to date and check the status of your connections.

E-mail

Personal data that you provide to us via e-mail (your name, e-mail address as well as content) will only be processed for correspondence with you or for the purpose for which you have provided us with the data. E-mail is not suitable for sending confidential information because of the not yet widespread use of encryption. Both the transmission of the metadata (sender, recipient, time of communication, route of communication, subject) and the content and, if applicable, the file attachments are often sent unencrypted. During transmission or on compromised end devices, messages could be read, copied, changed or suppressed.

Newsletter

You can subscribe to newsletters on specified topics. For the mailings and to prove your request, we store your IP address at the time of registration, your surname and first name, your specified e-mail address and your confirmation of the request. You can revoke your consent to receive a newsletter at any time and without giving reasons. A revocation option is also included in every mailing.

We use Mailingwork to send our newsletter. Your data will therefore be transferred to Mailingwork GmbH (head office: Birkenweg 7, 09569 Oederan branch: Schönherrstraße 8, 09113 Chemnitz, Germany). Mailingwork GmbH is prohibited from using your data for purposes other than sending the newsletter. Mailingwork GmbH is not permitted to pass on or sell your data. Mailingwork GmbH is a German, certified newsletter software provider, which has been carefully selected in accordance with the requirements of the DSGVO (GDPR) and the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act - FDPA.

Seminar bookings

Personal data that you provide to us when booking a seminar will be used to conclude and fulfil seminar contracts with you and will be stored to document the customer relationship.

Information about our offers

We will send you information about our offers on the basis of your consent or within the scope of permissible possibilities. You can revoke your consent or object to the sending of information at any time and without giving reasons. We will not pass on personal data that we use for this purpose to third parties unless you have given us your consent to do so.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that we allow your display program (browser) to place on your device and read; for example, to optimise the display of the content for your device, e.g. screen size, connection quality, language, to ensure the security of the connection, to continue sessions on your next visit, to save your decisions or preferences, to learn more about the course of visits through statistics and to make it easier to find topics in the future. Our processing of personal data is carried out to protect our legitimate interests for the purposes described in each case; you may object to such processing; the objection is directly implemented for some processing, for others there is no direct implementation and you would need to provide your reasons along with the objection. We would separately ask for your consent to allow the use of cookies whose function goes beyond the delivery and display of the retrieved content; for example, where we identify you, target you for personalised advertising, or where cookies would also be usable by other entities for their purposes; you could withdraw such consents at any time and without giving reasons with effect for the future. When using the same user profile, e.g. sharing the same login on your device, other people could continue sessions with your existing cookies. Settings in your browser allow you to control the handling of cookies and to delete cookies.

Appointment booking

You can use the booking function to make appointments. Depending on the subject area and the form of contact, it may be necessary to collect certain data, e.g. e-mail address or telephone number. When making an appointment, please do not provide any particularly sensitive information in the free text field, e.g. no specific health data. Your data will initially only be processed in order to keep the appointment, i.e. to confirm, reschedule or cancel the appointment, and to conduct the interview. If necessary, data will be passed on to the internal department responsible for the subject or region for clarification or to establish contact. In the further course of the consultation, the data may be used to send you more detailed information on your request or to pre-register you for certain services by arrangement; otherwise, the data will be deleted after the consultation has been completed. Appointments are booked via the order processor eTermin (www.etermin.net), which processes the data exclusively according to our specifications in the EU.

Facebook

We disseminate information about our activities and communicate with users of the service on our Facebook presence (www.facebook.com). Facebook is operated in the European Union by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland, a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. Meta Platforms Ireland Limited would possibly transfer personal data to third countries such as the USA on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses. In our Facebook presence, Facebook processes data on the activities of our visitors in order to make them available to us in summarised form as statistics. We are jointly responsible with Facebook for the processing of page insights and have concluded a contract about this. In the case of automated decisions, you can request that the decision is not solely automated; you can state your own point of view; and you can contest the outcome of the automated decision. Please note that data subject rights can only be granted to credibly entitled persons (yourself).
